Prior to attending Naturopathic College, Deborah Lightstone obtained an Honors degree in Nutritional Sciences from the department of Human Biology and Nutrition at the University of Guelph, Ontario. She attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and did her internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and the Parkdale Community Health Center in Toronto, Ontario. She obtained her license to practice Naturopathic Medicine from the Province of Ontario.
Dr. Lightstone is passionate about food and nutrition, the importance of educating and empowering patients about health and wellness and encouraging patients to take an active role in their own health care. She has been practicing in the West Lafayette/Lafayette area since 2004.

Dr. Gail Littell is the director of Hoosier Naturopath, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing
naturopathy to rural Hoosiers in service to God, nature, and man. Dr. Gail is a native Hoosier and is the
mother of 3 grown children and a grandmother to 12. Her life experience includes organic farming and
gardening and homeschooling. She attended Indiana University and Indiana University East, graduating
from Indiana University Southeast. Her doctoral work was done at The Canadian College of Naturopathic
Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. She trained in Arizona and obtained her license to practice massage
therapy in the State of Indiana and is a Vermont State licensed naturopathic physician. Dr. Gail
absolutely loves rural living and believes rural Hoosiers should be the healthiest people in the state!

Rebecca Lovejoy, ND, LAc is an Arizona State licensed naturopathic doctor and an Indiana State licensed acupuncturist. She received her master’s degree from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City and her naturopathic medical degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. Following completion of a 2-year hospital-based residency in naturopathic oncology at the Indiana University Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care, she joined the staff where she currently continues as a proud member of the integrative care team. At the cancer center, Dr. Lovejoy provides naturopathic supportive care to patients during and after conventional treatment while working closely with other disciplines to provide comprehensive integrative care. While patients are in active treatment, she focuses primarily on minimizing side effects and incorporating strategies to optimize treatment outcomes. For patients between or after primary cancer treatments, Dr. Lovejoy uses a variety of naturopathic modalities to focus on cancer control strategies, prevention of cancer recurrence and support of patient overall health.

Emily Moore, ND, L.Ac., FABNO, contributes to the integrative treatment of patients using natural therapies to promote wellness, increase efficacy and reduce side effects of conventional cancer treatments. Dr. Moore is manager of the Integrative Care Department at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, where she coordinates programs involving naturopathic physicians, dietitians and mind-body counselors. She also takes a special interest in cancer survivorship. Dr. Moore graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle with a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine and a master’s degree in acupuncture. Following a two-year residency at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, she became board-certified in naturopathic oncology. As a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the state of Indiana, Dr. Moore brings this modality to patients at the Center for Cancer Care. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) recognizes its efficacy in treating a number of health conditions. Patients find acupuncture to be useful in treating cancer-related health issues, as well as a number of conditions, including arthritis, neuropathy, hot flashes, insomnia and digestive complaints.

Katelin Parkinson, ND, HRHP is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and Women’s Health & Wellness Consultant. She received her Doctorate of Naturopathy from one of seven accredited naturopathic medical programs in North America. Katelin has a special interest in women’s health and has pursued additional training as a Holistic Reproductive Healthcare Practitioner and Fertility Awareness Method Educator. She is also a trained Fertility Awareness Collaborative to Teach the Systems (FACTS) speaker in collaboration with the Family Medicine Education Consortium (FMEC).
Her approach as a ND incorporates evidence-based functional medicine with traditional and holistic approaches to care. She provides integrative and preventative health services to the clients she works with, and focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Katelin believes that preventative and proactive care is the best wellness strategy and utilizes a variety of naturopathic modalities with the clients she works with.

Dr. Peter Swanz received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine Degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ.
Dr. Swanz was awarded the prestigious Daphne Blayden award for his commitment to Naturopathic Medicine, Academic Excellence, Compassion, Perseverance, a Loving Sense of Humor and a Positive, Supportive Outlook by his colleagues and staff at SCNM.
He is a Naturopathic Physician with advanced training in classical homeopathy and nutrition. Dr. Swanz is Board Certified and a Fellow of the Homeopathic Association of the Naturopathic Physicians. He currently supports individuals on the journey to health through his Vital Force Naturopathy practice, integrating the best of his conventional and holistic medical training. Dr. Anne Thiel is licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Oregon. She attended National College of Natural Medicine and graduated with honors in research. Dr. Thiel completed a two year residency in integrative oncology at the IU Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care in November 2014. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati where she earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting. Dr. Thiel chose to stay in Goshen, Indiana to start her own practice, Progressive Wellness Naturopathic Care, to provide northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan with expanded access to Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Thiel works with general health complaints as well as supporting people during and after conventional cancer treatment. She inspires and motivates people to be active participants in their care through education and an individualized approach to care. Food and botanical medicine are her favorite modalities to support the body’s healing capabilities.
